The original speaker that came in the amp is included. It is working fine. We personally prefer the sound of the WGS Veteran for its crunchy cone breakup when pushed like many of the best vintage American 10” speakers do. The amp is clear and pristine sounding at low to mid level volumes. The amp is light weight also in part to the lightweight speaker which is only about 3ibs while the entire amp weighs only a bit under 36ibs. This Princeton Reverb from the golden age really sings and is the perfect gigging or practice combo amp. The transformers in this amp date to 1964 while the Ser # on the inside label (pictured) dates to 1965. This amp also does not feature the metal Fender badge on its grill cloth which is a feature found usually only on Blackface amps from 64 and early 65. It was most likely built in 1964 and completed in 1965. It also comes with a slightly later (66-67) foot switch for engaging its lush tube driven spring reverb and beautiful classic tremolo circuit. It comes with a protective waterproof gig cover. The tubes are NOS Sylvania 6v6’s and new Tung-Sol 12ax7’s with an NOS Jan 12at7 and the rectifier tube is a new production tube but doesn’t seem to have a marking\/printed name that we can see.
