Introducing the 20th Anniversary Thinline Classic II, meticulously crafted by luthier Chuck Thornton. These instruments are built to the very highest quality standards, by a luthier with over 40 years of expertise in building and restoring some of the highest-end guitars the world has ever seen.
This guitar boasts a contoured highly figured 1/4" Sawn Olive Ash body. The top and sides are one piece rather than the back and sides being one piece; like on most Thinline style guitars. This is so that Chuck can carve the arm bevel into the instruments top. Other specs include a Torrified one-piece Rock Maple neck, and a 25½" scale length.
Weighing in at a light and extremely well balanced 6lbs 8 5/8oz - it features a traditional Gotoh Tele style bridge with compensated brass saddles and Harmonic Design Super 90's for traditional Tele virsitility but with a bit more of a P-90 edge to them. They sound phenominal both clean or overdriven. A truly great set of pickups. The guitar also features a 4-way switch for the three traditional Tele pickup positions, plus both pickups wired in series for a fat hum-bucker like tone.
This Thinline Classic II offers unarguable beauty, versatility and impeccable craftsmanship. Comes with original hardshell case and COA / Spec Sheet.
