After attending the Roberto Venn School of Luthiery in 2000, David Fry was hired by Master Craftsman/Luthier Terry Mcinturff. After working under Terry for many years, David went on to manage the wood shop at Modulus Basses in CA. After working under several different guitar companies, he decided to move back to Arkansas to start his new company Fry Guitars.

This Fry Double Cut Solid-Body guitar is a gorgeous handmade instrument that plays with ease and delivers tone and feel that satisfies. The offset body is very ergonomic and comfortable seated or standing. The lightweight tempered reclaimed Pine body is matched with a Rock Maple neck & high-grade Rosewood fingerboard. The fretwork is excellently executed making this Fry Guitar play like butter. The Tortoise Guard, "Vintage Radio Style" knobs and Staytrem Bridge with Descendant Vibrato setup not only looks great, but the vibrato system is something truly special. The Descendant has a much larger break angle due to the strings going beneath the metal plate; meaning more sustain and a much more touch sensitive vibrato. 
The pickups are Hand Wound Pork Roll Jazzmaster Pickups with a Rythm Circuit on the pickguard for a darker preset neck pickup tone that bypasses the other controls when engaged . Lots of ground can be covered with this set of specs. The guitar sounds great for Country, Rock, Jazz & everything in between. The middle position is hum-canceling due to the RWRP nature of the single coil pickups.
