Ronin Guitars are getting more and more difficult to find, especially the set-neck models. This Badmoon is a unique one with an Aged Honey Burst finish and true ancient Mammoth Ivory pick-guard. A recent pro setup ensures phenomenal playability. The guitar is set up with 10-46 gauge strings with low action. The frets also have their full life ahead of them.
The Single-Foil-Bucker in the neck position is warm and inviting when clean, while handling overdrive like a champ; giving you raunchy yet articulate blues tones in spades. The bridge Foil Bucker is like the best sounding PAF Humbucker, mixed with the crisp and airy tone of a great vintage Gold Foil pickup. Both pickups have loads of girth and clarity.
They are extremely responsive to your touch & where your volume knob is set
As you lower the volume control this guitar never loses its tonal characteristics.
Perfect for cranking your tube amp and using the volume knob to go from clean to dirty. It's a tone that could only be believed by playing, feeling and hearing the guitar in person. It's the kind of tonality that excites the senses and stands out in a mix.
Due to the semi-hollow nature of these guitars and acoustic instrument grade woods; the Badmoon is also the perfect instrument for solo guitar work. It excels when finger-picked, with a Gretsch-like thump in the middle position. Harmonics that leap off the fretboard and musical feedback are both staples of the Badmoon's design.
