Soultool Guitars is a one-man shop, building fully handmade custom instruments in Switzerland. Luthier Egon Rauscher has a knack for building some of the most brilliantly designed, beautiful and soulful guitars we've ever come across.

When you first pick up this instrument you know you're holding a meticulously built and high-end piece of playable art in your hands. The craftsmanship is just remarkable, as is the tone and playability. Access to the upper registers is comfortable and easy due to the rolled edges of the deep cutaway on the body. The custom Two-Zone Fretting system Soultool uses is also another player friendly feature. The frets furthest up the board gradually become thinner to avoid finger cramping and fatigue. This guitar resonates in your hand like a well worn in acoustic instrument. This translates exceedingly well to its electric voice when plugged in. The Haeussel P-90 and Humbucker pickups react to even the most subtle nuances of your pick attack and touch, while the wraparound bridge provides loads of sustain.

There is no binding on this guitar yet it feels like there is. This is due to the frets being cut to the appropriate length before being pressed in; leaving the sides of the fingerboard still intact. The gorgeous Gold Top finish is remarkably thin and looks gorgeous with the naturally finished mahogany back and sides. All in all this an incredible heir-loom worthy guitar of the highest quality.
