The Brondel Honeycaster is Laurent Brondel's masterfully crafted hybrid of both a classic T-Style & S-Type guitar, combining vintage-inspired design with exceptional attention to detail and impeccable playability combining traditional luthier techniques with absolutely perfect precision. in Maine, each Honeycaster reflects Brondel's reputation for producing instruments that are remarkably resonant, responsive, and inspiring to play.
This particular Honeycaster features a lightweight alder body paired with a beautifully figured curly maple neck and laminated Amason Rosewood fingerboard. Finished in aged Fiesta Red nitrocellulose lacquer and complemented by aged hardware throughout, it delivers the look and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument while offering the reliability and precision of a modern custom build.
Equipped with a Ron Ellis 52T bridge pickup and Ron Ellis '64S middle and neck pickups, this Honeycaster offers exceptional clarity, touch sensitivity, and dynamic range. From classic Tele twang and Strat-like quack to warm, articulate bell-like neck tones, this versatile three-pickup configuration covers an impressive sonic spectrum while retaining outstanding note separation and harmonic complexity.
