The pickups are hand wound by Deimel in Germany. This set is comprised of a medium output PAF under Thunderbird cover in the bridge position and a Strat sized P-90 neck pickup. Frank Deimel’s pickups are absolutely phenomenal; his winding skills are certainly up there with the best. You’ll be hard pressed to find a genre of music this guitar doesn’t excel in. You'll also find that coming up with new and interesting ideas is quite easy with this unique LP Jr. / Jazzmaster - like hybrid design.
