Timeless, direct, and endlessly versatile, the K-Line Truxton is Chris Kroenlein’s masterful interpretation of the original single cut workhorse. Built with an ear toward classic ’50s tone and feel, the Truxton delivers the punch, clarity, and dynamic response that made this style of guitar a cornerstone of countless genres.

This example features an ash body finished in a beautifully aged 2-Tone Sunburst, or 2TSB, with K-Line’s tasteful relic treatment. The combination of the traditional sunburst, black pickguard, and aged hardware gives the guitar the unmistakable appearance of a well played early ’50s instrument. The maple neck and fingerboard add the quick attack, snap, and strong fundamental that pair exceptionally well with the resonance and openness of the ash body.

A set of K-Line Signature T pickups provides the voice. The bridge pickup delivers the bite, twang, and authority expected from a great T-style guitar while retaining plenty of body and musicality. The neck pickup is warm and woody while remaining articulate and defined. Together they cover everything from clear, percussive clean tones to dynamic overdrive with excellent note separation and responsiveness to the player’s touch.

The .850” C neck carve has a substantial vintage inspired feel without becoming cumbersome. A 10” fingerboard radius and 6125 frets provide a slightly more modern playing surface, making bends and upper register work comfortable while retaining the character of a traditional T-style instrument. A bone nut, K-Line bridge, and Gotoh SD91 tuners round out a straightforward and reliable hardware package.

The Truxton is a great example of what K-Line does so well: taking the character, simplicity, and feel of a great vintage instrument and refining it into a guitar built to be played every day.
