Timeless, direct, and endlessly versatile, the K-Line Truxton is Chris Kroenlein’s masterful interpretation of the original single cut workhorse. Built with an ear toward classic ’60s tone and feel, the Truxton delivers the punch, clarity, and dynamic response that have made this style of guitar a staple across countless genres.
This example features an alder body finished in a beautifully aged 3-Tone Sunburst, with K-Line’s tasteful relic treatment giving it the appearance and character of a well played vintage instrument. A mint green pickguard completes the classic aesthetic, while the rosewood fingerboard adds warmth and depth to the familiar snap and immediacy of the Truxton design.
Loaded with K-Line Signature T pickups, this guitar captures the fundamental character of a great vintage T-style instrument. The bridge pickup delivers plenty of bite, twang, and definition while retaining body and musicality. The neck pickup is warm, round, and woody without sacrificing clarity. Together, the two pickups provide an exceptionally useful range of tones, from articulate cleans and classic country sounds to blues, rock, and dynamic overdrive.
The .850” C neck carve offers a substantial but comfortable feel, paired with a 10” fingerboard radius and 6125 frets for smooth bends and easy playability across the entire neck. A bone nut, K-Line bridge, and Gotoh SD91 tuners complete a simple and dependable hardware package.
