This 1974 Fender Strat comes in a hard-to-find, but more toneful Hardtail setup. It is all original, aside from a volume pot replacement, and the bridge pickup has been replaced with a DiMarzio HS-2. The pickup is wired in single coil, and controlled by the 2nd tone pot. 

This great example of a Hardtail Strat comes with its original hard case, and has been well-cared for, with a recent professional refret by Laurent Brondel using Jescar NS 51100 wire. A new bone nut was installed during the refret, and the pickguard cracks were cleanly repaired with a carbon-fiber veneer, adding stability without disturbing the vintage look. The guitar is clean overall, showing tasteful checking and light playwear that match its age.
