This is a pre-production smaller sized Nathan Jr. Reverb Combo Amp, in perfect working order. (see last pic for size reference) It sounds unreal with its vintage 1960's NOS RCA Black-Plate 6v6 output tube. These are the holy-grail of guitar amp power tubes. Benson Amps really nailed it with the Nathan Jr. Reverb Combo Amp. It’s truly a brilliant design. A simple yet effective control scheme, a tone-stack to please even the most discerning players ears, lush tube driven spring reverb that can go from subtle to completely wet, a loud 5 watts & 10” Celestion Greenback speaker; perfect for both medium to small gigs, studio use or bed room volumes. It’s also a very portable & lightweight Amp, this one weighs only 19lbs. Comes w/ original box & power chord.
From Benson:
5 Watt combo with spring reverb
We wanted to hit a different price point with the Nathan Junior amp…instead of our usual Mercury transformers/Jupiter capacitors combination we found some domestically produced components that sound fantastic and fit the form factor better. For 5 watts in a tiny package, it sounds shockingly big. We think it’s the perfect grab and go recording/ small gig combo.
