This Bilt Zaftig, in one of our favorite color combos Olive Drab is an impressive guitar in so many ways. It's a playable piece of art with top notch workmanship and some beautiful upgraded appointments like an Ebony fingerboard, Roasted Mahogany Neck and Black Mastery hardware; to stick with the Olive Drab theme.
The Zaftig model has gained popularity with guitarist Nels Cline of Wilco and The Nels Cline Singers, as well as many other players across the globe. The Bilt Zaftig (this guitar in particular) delivers a superb and articulate tonal spectrum, via its Semi-Hollow construction and dual Lollar Staple P-90's which are clear, focused and deliver a big-round dynamic tone in all positions. An anodized aluminum black pick guard and vibrato switch tip only add to the theme of this outstanding instrument. The neck pickup loves being put through the rhythm circuit, especially with high-gain drive or a fuzz pedal.
