For players who are looking for a painstakingly well built T-Style guitar with effortless playability, impeccable fret work and an incredible tonal range, the ET Sugar Pine will certainly hit the right spot. This is the type of guitar that is so easy to bond with given its familiarity. However with this ET's Pine body and Elliott-wound Telewacker pickups, this guitar makes a tonal-statement all its own. 

The Telewacker set is comprised of a neck pickup that retains all of the warmth and diction of a traditional Tele neck pickup but mixed with the wide-open and rich tone of a gold foil. Elliott was hip to the gold foils unique tonal characteristics long before it became such a popular neck pickup choice amongst modern-day Tele players. The bridge pickup can be compared to a 56-58 Tele tone. It is certainly never a shrill sounding pup, even when playing lead past the 12th fret. It can be described as fat and gutsy with more than enough spank and output to hang with the best of those vintage instruments. 

As on all Elliott instruments the fretwork is top-notch with notes that ring out clearly with great bell-like sustain all the way up the neck. Elliott’s own bridge has added mass that gives this instrument greater sustain than most other T-Style instruments on the market. Adorned with some eye catching details such as the red side-dots, shell-casing 3-way blade switch-tip, Elliotts dual-tone headstock and black bakelite guard. This guitar sounds and plays like a true precisian built hand-made guitar should and does so in style.
