Fender Brownface Deluxe 1961-1962 Excellent Condition

Available is this awesome circa 1961 Brownface Deluxe Amp. The amp is a dream, from great Brownface era clean tones to howling overdriven lead tones via the dual 6v6 output tubes. The tube-bias trem is lush and rich. The tremolo effect comes on when the speed knob is set at around 3 rather than 1. This is something we've seen with multiple vintage Fenders that utilize true bias tremolo. The dial number doesn't always correlate to when the effect starts working. Remember it was new technology to use effects like tremolo in amps at the time this Deluxe was built. Rest assured the trem sounds great and goes from a very slow speed to a very fast speed and anything in-between. 

The components (caps, resistors, etc) are mostly original; with the most important Yellow Astron caps, which make these combo amps sound so great still in place. The transformers are original as well. The chord has been updated to a safer 3-prong style. All tubes that were on their last legs, have been replaced with new ones and the amp has been given a clean bill of health by our tech.

the speaker is a Celestion G-12S-50. It more than gets the job done, but can always be replaced by your speaker of choice.
