After attending the Roberto Venn School of Luthiery in 2000, David Fry was hired by Master Craftsman/Luthier Terry Mcinturff. After working under Terry for many years, David went on to manage the wood shop at Modulus Basses in CA. After working under several different guitar companies, he decided to move back to Arkansas to start his new company Fry Guitars.

This Fry Single Cut semi-hollow body guitar is a gorgeous handmade instrument that plays with ease and delivers tone and feel that satisfies. The offset body is very ergonomic and comfortable seated or standing. The lightweight Semi-Hollow Alder body is matched with a tempered Flame Maple neck & high-grade Rosewood fingerboard. The fretwork is excellently executed making this Fry play like butter. This particular example features double black binding, a Bakelite Guard, F hole and a Mastery bridge and vibrato setup. The pickups are a Lollars Staple-P-90 set that has been wound specially for Fry Guitars. Lots of ground can be covered with this set of specs. The guitar sounds great for Country, Rock, Jazz & everything in between. The middle position is completely hum-canceling due to the RWRP nature of the single coil pickups.
