An exceptionally rare example of Gibson's early 1970s Les Paul reissues, this 1972 Les Paul '58 Reissue features an original factory Sunburst finish, a particularly unusual variation from a production run predominantly finished in Goldtop. Built with specifications inspired by the original 1954 Les Paul, this instrument represents a fascinating period in Gibson's history.

The guitar features a one-piece mahogany body with a carved maple top, a one-piece mahogany neck without a volute, and a long neck tenon. Its original wraparound tailpiece and pair of P-90 pickups with period-correct embossed Gibson covers deliver the unmistakable character of an early Les Paul, with exceptional clarity, warmth, and dynamic response.

This example remains 100% original, with no modifications, routing, or repairs. Most importantly, the guitar has never suffered a headstock break, heel crack, or structural damage of any kind.

Cosmetically, the instrument is in very good vintage condition, displaying natural finish checking, small dents, scratches, and honest playwear consistent with its age. The original frets retain plenty of life, and the neck is straight with excellent playability.

An uncommon opportunity to acquire an early Gibson Les Paul reissue in a rare factory Sunburst finish, retaining its original components and structural integrity.

Includes the original hardshell case.

Awesome pedal, Awesome seller!!!!!!!

I had the original GPDI and loved it. Waited anxiously for the new one. Traded the headphone out and aux in for some other useful features but otherwise it’s altogether better… especially for cleans. The IRS are a useful addition of course. Tons of fun to play and can be used in a myriad of ways.

Beautiful guitar... Thankful for the deal but the frets are so unlevel so ill have to get a fret job.

Amp was well packed and arrived safely. Smooth transaction. Sounds excellent and is in mint condition.

Great amp. Exactly what I was looking for. I've been able to get great tones at volumes I can play at home without making my wife and kids hate me. I've tried lots of complex solutions in my attempts to accomplish this over the years but nothing I tried really got me there. The Swingland delivered.

The transition was very easy.
The help was outstanding.
The shipping was very speedy.
The guitar is a marvel.

No one who knows me would ever have taken me for a sparkly guitar kind of guy ~ but there you have it.

Great Pedal !

The pedal was just what I was hoping for. I am truly enjoying the pedal.

Amazing guitar!
