A beautiful and rare 2002 example of the Gibson ES-355, BB King Lucile model. This particular example was finished in a gorgeous translucent deep blue, so that you can still see the woods grain. There's a lot of ornamentation including double white binding and 3-ply black/white purfling which looks stunning against the top, the guitar also features a custom Gibson tortoise and 3-ply white/black guard. The hardware is gold with a subtle, but nice patina on most of the parts. The stereo input jack and 6 position varitone both work great and are very fun to utilize. This guitar also has a white bound Black Ebony fingerboard. All in all this guitar has been very well cared for and only shows minor scratches and normal play-wear. The frets have their full life ahead of them and the guitar is setup with a new set of NYXL 10-46 strings with a nice low action of 3 & 4 64ths of an inch at the 12th fret E to E. Comes with original case and older style COA pamphlet.Â
