Here's a gorgeous new custom Grez Mendocino. This particular guitar has a few nice upgraded appointments that build on the Mendocino's already classy and timeless design.
The Cherry Burst finish over the light center- figured, Curly Redwood top is extremely beautiful and makes the figure of the wood just pop. The body is bound in Tortoise and white purfling.
The Mendocino typically comes standard with either Lollar Gold-Foils or Imperial Humbuckers. However this Mendocino comes equipped with Curtis Novak GT-V Gold Foils. While they maintain the open, airy and balanced tone of the Lollar Gold Foils, they have a more focused and articulate clean tone with some extra bite and output when overdriven. Novak is known for winding extremely authentic sounding and looking vintage-spec Gold Foil reproduction pickups; so these fit the bill perfectly and look great at the same time.
This Grez plays with ease and is currently setup with a set of 10-46 gauge strings. It has a sophisticated semi-hollow body voice with a loud acoustic foundation. A phenomenal guitar all around.
