Here we have an incredible new and extremely rare guitar built by the greatly respected Melbourne Australia based Luthier, Anthony Paine of Harvester Guitars. This is your chance to jump ahead of the wait list for one of these epic one of a kind and coveted electric guitars. 

Paine has been making a big splash and name for himself under the Harvester moniker in the Luthier built boutique electric guitar world, especially with his Italian aluminum/metal-neck and vintage inspired “Rustic” style builds, like this one.

This model is called the Kalamazoo. The model is very much influenced by vintage Epiphone Solid Bodies like the Wilshire. Like all Harvester guitars it has been painstakingly built by Anthony Paine in his one man one dog Melbourne Australia workshop.

We must say it's a truly special thing to have the opportunity to work with such an incredible Luthier and Artist. AP is a very in demand builder. His guitars are great works of art that play incredibly well. This guitar is "Raw" and feels like an old world hand-crafted instrument. Superbly rolled edges on the Fingerboard make for a very comfortable feel. 

Its beauty lies not only in its Rustic and road worn aesthetics but in its exceptional playability, tone and feel. Perfectly smooth and rounded edges and an amazing feeling Medium-Full U neck carve with some D shape to the shoulders and a thicker fretboard inspired by vintage rickenbacker guitars, I can’t describe in words how perfectly this guitars neck fits into the palm of your hand. .83 @ 1st fret and .94 @ 12th fret. 

Harvester Guitars are played world wide by some equally incredible and respected musicians like Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, Bill Frisell and Sean Lennon.

The bound F-Hole is an interesting and aesthetically pleasing appointment as it is fully routed out, but the guitars body is actually solid not semi-hollow, though it rings like an acoustic instrument. This one of a kind guitar also features a rare quarter-sawn Maple Body and Neck combination with a Padauk Fingerboard. Padauk has many charachteristics and tonal properties as Rosewood but is brighter in color.

The pickups are a TV Jones Magna-Tron in the Neck and a TV-Classic in the bridge. This is a great combination. Combining a focused articulate neck pickup with an equally articulate but more aggressive tone of the TV-Classic in the Bridge. These pickups are true Humbuckers but can Twang with ease and sound huge without ever being harsh in their tone especially in this set-neck, solid body. Some of the best Travis-Picking style tones can be achieved in the middle position. The volume and tone controls are also very responsive and in this case add some great extra nuanced versatility to the tone of this guitar. 

The scale length is 25" and a mix of Gotoh and original Harvester aged hardware is used throughout the build. The Headstock features a Rustic H for Harvester inlay and a beautiful Harvester written Logo in an interesting script fashion on the Truss-Rod cover.

The “Buick Blue” Metallic Nitro finish is sprayed on-top of another very light coat Sunburst finish. This guitar will only get cooler looking and sounding over time with age.
