Heatley Guitars Beaumont, 2022 Amber/Ivory, Wolftone P-90's NEW (Authorized Dealer)

We're excited to be representing Scott Heatley's work. It's not everyday that you come across a luthier with such a clear cut vision and the skills to pull it all together. Scott lives and breaths guitars and is always finding new ways to innovate and further improve his designs. 

This variation on the Heatley Beaumont has a chambered (on the bass side only) Maple body with a Flame Maple neck and a beautifully figured quilted Maple top. The top is finished in Amber with an Ivory finished back and sides.

Most Heatley Beaumonts are Chambered without sound holes. However Scott decided to add them to this build mainly for the aesthetics. They do make for a slightly louder guitar acoustically than other Beaumonts we have had for sale. The guitar is adorned with tortoise body purfling and white and tortoise binding. The neck has white binding with a strip of tortoise that goes beneath the white and eventually meets the bodies tortoise purfling. Scotts work is very intricate, while never looking to busy. This Beaumont also features Scott's "offset" fingerboard inlays, which double as side markers. They are made of MOP with faux tortoise on the inside of the inlay. The knobs and guard were also handmade by Scott Heatley.

This Beaumont is as lively as any great guitar we've had the opportunity to play. It has a very full EQ response with great clarity, note separation and tons of sustain. While this guitar can certainly roar, it also has some aspects of a Fullerton-type guitar with it's 25 1/2" scale and maple neck which add both bite and clarity to this particular design.

This example is also of a very nice weight and well balanced at only 7lbs 2oz. The Mean and Meaner P-90's by Wolftone are an excellent pickup set for this instrument delivering a fat P-90 tone with enhanced highs and the perfect amount of mid-range grunt. The middle position is to die for; perfect for fingerpicking or even Funk. To be honest, you'd be hard pressed to find a style of playing that this guitar doesn't excel at. Rock, Country even Jazz. 

Other features include matching backplates, custom Heatley hardware and incredible access to the upper frets, due to the treble-side cutaway. You'll also notice the fast and comfortable satin finish on the neck which brings the guitars playability to another level. The countersunk screws on the backplate keep the neck joint as stable as a set-neck.
