Island Instruments Anzol South Shore Special 2019 Aged White Blonde with Bigsby, Firestripe Pickgua

This amazing Island Instrument Manufacturer Anzol Model built for the opening of our store and named the “South Shore Special” is one of the most perfect playing guitars I’ve ever laid my hands on (that’s a lot of guitars from all around the world, new and vintage!) It features a lightweight poplar body and roasted maple 1/4 sawn neck, 1 11/16” nut width, 25” scale and a 12” fingerboard radius. The Leddin Classic Tele pickup set (hand wound in Australia) are unique to this Anzol as is the side jack for your instrument cable. Most importantly the tones are incredible as is the workmanship. The tone is very 50’s Tele but on this instrument has a bit less treble high-end them other Island Anzols and definitely no annoying high-treble peak like on most vintage Teles out there. No ripping paper Ice-Pick tones here just clear. crisp, pure tone. The Aluminum Bigsby bridge and “chopped a la Yanzilo Stringed Instrument Style” Cut-Bigsby Vibrato are a one time only spec done for our this special guitar and will not be repeated by Island again. The Vibrato is actually laid into the body that is routed out so cleanly for it to sit in. It bounces back like no other Bigsby we’ve ever tried, truly remarkable and precise.
