This Butterscotch Blonde relic captures everything players love about the earliest blackguard-style instruments—snap, authority, and woody resonance—while refining the feel and consistency to modern boutique standards. From articulate country twang to punchy blues and roots rock grind, this Truxton delivers the unmistakable voice that built generations of music.

 

Loaded with K-Line’s Signature T pickups, this guitar serves up fat, vintage-correct ’50s Tele tone with a lively attack, sweet midrange, and just the right amount of natural compression and spank. Notes bloom with rich harmonics and musical overtones, staying clear and dynamic whether played clean or pushed into overdrive. It’s a sound that cuts through a mix without ever becoming harsh.

 

Hand-built in St. Louis, Missouri, each K-Line instrument is crafted from carefully selected tonewoods for maximum resonance and responsiveness. The lightweight ash body paired with a one-piece maple neck delivers classic snap and sustain, while the comfortable .850” C neck profile feels substantial without being bulky—perfect for players who want vintage substance with modern playability. A thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, tastefully aged, allows the wood to breathe and resonate while providing the broken-in look and feel of a well-loved original.

I had the original GPDI and loved it. Waited anxiously for the new one. Traded the headphone out and aux in for some other useful features but otherwise it’s altogether better… especially for cleans. The IRS are a useful addition of course. Tons of fun to play and can be used in a myriad of ways.

Great amp. Exactly what I was looking for. I've been able to get great tones at volumes I can play at home without making my wife and kids hate me.
