Koll Duo Glide 2018 Cardinal Red, Mint featherweight (TV Jones Dynasonic, T-Armond Pickups)

Here we have a stunning Koll Duo Glide Serial #17543 handmade by the legendary Luthier himself Mr. Saul Koll, in his Portland Origin workshop. Saul developed the iconic and often copied Glide body shape over 25 years ago and has yet to stop pushing the boundaries of what the electric guitar can be & do.
This Duo Glide has some of the most striking features we have ever seen on any Koll Duo Glide built before or after its conception in 2018.
This instrument has a Maple Top in a beautiful and very lightly applied nitro “Cardinal Red” finish. The back and sides are Chambered Mahogany with a vibrant natural finish. The neck is made from mahogany and the board is a colorful piece of indian rosewood. The neck is a very comfortable medium C shape, which should feel very familiar to fans of Koll Guitars. It feels reminiscent of some legendary 50’s Gibson LP necks to us, with Koll’s own twist. The fingerboard radius is a compound 10”- 14” and the headstock is a veneer of very beautifully striped Macassar Ebony. The nut width is 1.687’ and the scale length is 24.625” This guitar weighs in at a nice 6Ibs 8oz.
This Duo Glide has it all. This instrument is in near mint condition but is not brand new. It has a few light scratches that are only visible in certain light but is in otherwise superb looking and playing condition. Professionally setup by Master Luthier Cristian Mirabella and plays perfectly.
