The Super Cub is a newer model for Koll and lives up to his impressive reputation as one of the finest luthiers around today. While a simple design compared to most of Koll's lineup, this Super Cub is a great and inspiring guitar for near any playing style. The pickups are a true replica of the Fender Wide Range Humbucker, wound by Curtis Novak for a fat humbucking tone with loads of bell like clarity still in the mix.Â
