This brand new solid-body Lumière T is a beautiful example of Rafa’s approach to building instruments that feel alive in your hands. Built entirely by hand in Buenos Aires, it carries the same expressive character and responsiveness that have drawn players like Jim Campilongo to the brand, but in a focused, solid-body form that delivers immediacy, clarity, and punch.

The two-piece Spanish Cedar body keeps things lightweight and resonant, finished in a clean White Blonde nitro that lets the grain subtly show through. There’s a natural openness to the way this guitar vibrates, even unplugged, with a balance that feels effortless whether you’re sitting or standing.

The neck is classic Lumière. Aged Yellow Pine, sourced from wood well over a hundred years old, gives the instrument a quick, lively response with a slightly elastic feel under the fingers. The Medium Soft V-C carve measures .85 to .97 and sits comfortably in the hand, paired with a 9.5 inch radius and 6105 fretwire that make it easy to move across the board. Lumière’s 25.25 inch scale length adds a subtle slinkiness to the tension, giving bends and vibrato a smooth, controlled feel while still retaining snap and articulation.

This build is fitted with a set of Lumière built Alnico III pickups, the same bridge pickup found in Campilongo’s signature model. The only difference being that Jim’s guitar features a mini-humbucker in the neck. 

They deliver a wide, dynamic voice with a clear, articulate top-end, a focused low-end, and a responsiveness that tracks every nuance of your touch. The neck is warm and open without getting cloudy, while the bridge has that familiar Tele-style bite, but with a slightly rounder, more refined edge. It’s a setup that encourages phrasing and expression, reacting instantly to changes in attack and volume.

At 7lbs 3oz, it’s incredibly comfortable and balanced, and it comes complete with a custom hardshell case.
