The Maneco Labs Sweet 16 is a Lo-Fi Delay unit that imparts some similar characteristics of vintage digital delay units like the (EHX 16 Sec Delay) we all know and love. Like those vintage units, it has the ability to always be recording your input signal even while bypassed via the New/Vintage toggle switch. When turned on the pedal will play back what you've recorded. The unit has an extremely interesting modulation section that has a portamento-like feel to it as you turn the depth control up. Other features include infinite mode, reverse mode and a half/double time toggle. This pedal functions both as a Delay and Looper Pedal with up to 64 seconds of Delay/Looping time when tapping in the tempo (same left foot switch as record function) This is a Lo-Fi Delay machine in every sense of the word. Lovely and Murky repeats and spontaneous modulation and looping is the name of the game with the Sweet 16.
