Milkman Sound Half Pint 5W Combo Amp in Upgraded Tweed w/ Walnut Faceplate.
We just love this little 5w Class A Half Pint by Milkman. If you know us, you know we love the tones from the Fullerton Blackface era (Ala Princeton Rev, Deluxe Reverb, etc) This little guy delivers all of those magical old clean tones in spades & is just about the same size of a Princeton Reverb (actually a wee bit smaller) but w/ a 12” speaker. Beautiful onboard spring reverb & tube bias trem are both available in this compact tweed covered combo. We feel the tweed look is also just perfect; as while this amp delivers all of those sparkling, pristine Blackface Fullerton CA style clean tones; when pushed into breakup territory, you get a gorgeous Tweed-like tube overdrive. Then an onboard attenuator let’s you dial back the volume to meet your needs. The Half Pint is definitely it’s own thing, while borrowing just a few great notions from the most beloved vintage amplifiers of yesteryear.

With the onboard voltage controlled power scaling, you can turn this amp up to 10 and dial it back to just a fraction of a watt so that your fun zone is volume appropriate for just about anywhere.
This amp is comfortable on stage, in studio, and at home. Because of the variable power, you can set it how you like and adjust the power level for the room.
The power section of this amplifier consists of a single 6V6 power tube biased to class A. The front end is similar to the Creamer, with extended headroom reverb and tremolo.
Jupiter Alnico 12" has a classic American alnico magnet sound. A bit less transparent in the upper midrange, this speaker adds a "woody" tone. Its lively on top, and a bit more focused in the bass response than the Greenback. The speaker starts to break up and add alnico character as the amp is pushed. Its the most efficient of the 3 speaker options.
The amplifier is hand wired onto a turret board with Mercury Magnetics and Jupiter capacitors are standard equipment."
