This extremely lightweight Nacho Banos build is inspired by one of the earliest known Fender electric guitar prototypes from 1949. Built in Spain with Nacho’s signature attention to historical accuracy and tone, it combines hollow body resonance with dual PAF-style humbuckers for a one-of-a-kind response and feel.
Like all Nachocasters, this guitar was built to vintage spec using carefully aged components and true-to-era lacquer techniques. The result is a guitar that captures the soul of a mid-century American prototype with modern playability and expert craftsmanship. Collector-owned and in mint condition.
This heavily chambered Ash body Nacho “Tele Proto” with authentic PAF style humbuckers is an incredible instrument. It combines that quick Tele attack, spank and bite, we all know and love with some characteristics more familiar to Gibson style guitars. With its internal chambers this guitar is extremely lightweight and balanced at 5lbs 15oz. In combination with the humbucker set; you get an enchanting mix of 335 meets Les Paul meets Tele type - vibes. It’s all there from sweet, singing clean Jazz tones to roaring lead tones with highly-musical and easily tamable feedback.
