Jack of Rocknroll Amps is our amp tech at South Shore Guitar Boutique. He has a long history building and servicing high-end Boutique and Vintage amps. While not concerned with trends; Jack build his amps the old fashion way inside and out. Each amplifier is hand fabricated and meticulously hand wired with only the highest end components and speakers. They are true tone machines. If players in the 60's had any of his models, it would have been used as their secret weapon. Tones range from crisp AC15 cleans with more than a little Blackface Fullerton goodness around the edges, to roaring and highly sculpt-able overdriven tones, that can be altered in a number of ways, using the broad range of intuitive controls. Multiple boosts are on tap as well as a three knob tube driven Spring Reverb that can sit in a mix perfectly or drip like an old outboard reverb tank. The JK-15 is only available at our store and the first one is here. Finished in a beautiful Carbon Fibre Tolex, this amps will not disappoint in tone or looks. Oh and it can be played from bedroom to stage volumes without loss in clarity, due to the unique Master Volume design.
JK 15 Specs:
1 x 12 combo in Carbon Fiber tolex.
2 EL84 output section 15w.
Post phase inverter master volume.
3 knob reverb – mix, dwell, tone.
3 way boost switch. Center is stock. B1 and B2 settings are 2 different boosts. Boosts change the way the
tone stack responds.
Controls include- Volume, treble, middle, bass and jangle.
Vox style tone stack.
Pristine clean sounds with master volume maxed (out of the circuit) and just use the volume control.
Crunchy overdriven sounds by turning down the master and turning up the volume.
Light weight Eminence Lil Texas Neodymium speaker.
Cabinet is fully built out of Pine.
Completely hand wired on a hand made circuit board.
Custom made chassis.
Tube rectified.
