The Ron Ellis Ellisonic Humsize Set takes everything players have come to love about the original Julian Lage-inspired Ellisonic design and adapts it into a standard humbucker footprint. Created from Ron’s work with Julian Lage and Collings on the now highly regarded 470 JL, the Ellisonic began with the vintage DeArmond Dynasonic as its foundation, eventually evolving into something entirely its own. The result is a pickup that doesn’t neatly fit into one category. There are hints of Dynasonic snap, P-90 authority, and Telecaster clarity all living under one cover.

What immediately stands out is the note separation and acoustic-like quality under your fingers. There’s an openness and dimensionality that makes chords feel expansive and single notes feel unusually alive.
