This is quite a special Ronin Mirari out of our personal collection of Ronin Guitars. The Mirari for sale has not been used. This guitar was built by Luthier Izzy Lugo of Ronin; specked out with all of Ronin's most popular upgrades. It includes a 4-button Tornipulator and Torn vibrato route; which is fully routed out so that the player can pull upward over a minor third. This is typically a $950 upgrade. Like with all Ronin's, this guitar has been painstakingly built by one skilled Luthier on all vintage machinery the old fashion way, with no expense spared.
Like with most Mirari's this guitar features two of Ronin's Foil Bucker pickups that are able to be split into single coils using the push buttons next to the first two control knobs. There is also a Magic Button (piezo disc/pickup) push button next to the bridge pickups tone control. The Foil Bucker pickups are a breath of fresh air, crossing the line between a great Gold-Foil and lower output PAF. Every nuance of your playing is heard and they clean up beautifully with your guitars volume control.
The Magic Button brings into play a specialized passive piezo pickup that sits inside of the bridge pickups cavity route. Engaging it can lead to many musical results and enhances the sounds of the very resonant Reclaimed Old Growth Redwood body. Upon pressing it, you'll be able to enhance all the subtle nuances of the instrument. Letting you tap and play behind the nut or scratch at the springs. You can also get acoustic like tones that are blend-able with the other pickups. As you roll down your guitars volume control, it becomes more present, this can lead to lap-steel, banjo, dobro and many other experimental but extremely musical sounds.
Now to discuss the 4-button Tornipulator circuit. If you are into Avant-Garde music or like to build unique landscapes of sound while using pedals like loopers or just want to use the momentary Kill-Switch or LPF alone for Trem/Vibrato type sounds; it's all at your finger tips. The 4-Button Tornipulator has these 4 functions; all of which can be used in conjunction together. The first button (all momentary) activates the Microphone, the second introduces 60 Cycle Hum and is essentially a ground lift, the third button is a Kill Switch and last but not least is Izzy (head Luthier/designer at Ronin's) Low Pass Filter button that can interact with the mic or be used alone.
This Mirari is finished in a classy Aged Black, all nitro relic finish with a matching black headstock and metal pickguard. Truly this is one of the finest Ronin Guitars to have ever come through ours shop. Â
