This Morningstar is part of the last Limited-Build run of guitars that Ronin will ever make again. So this is a one time opportunity. The company will unfortunately be closing their shop latter this year, read more on the official Ronin website. It incorporates some of the most loved and innovative Ronin features like their famous Magic Button which brings into play a specialized passive piezo pickup that sits inside of the bridge pickups cavity route. This can lead to many musical results and enhances the sounds of the very resonant Redwood body. Upon pressing it, you'll be able to enhance all the subtle nuances of the instrument. Letting you tap and play behind the nut or scratch at the springs. You can also get acoustic like tones that are blend-able with the other pickups. As you roll down your guitars volume control/controls, it becomes more present, this can lead to lap-steel, banjo, dobro and many other experimental but extremely musical sounds. Our favorite feature and one that sets this Morningstar apart from most older builds; is its Stratofoil/Mini Foil-Bucker in the bridge position with a coil-tap button. This pickup needs to be heard to be believed. You can get everything from fat-growling PAF humbucker style tones, mixed with more than a just a hint of Gold-Foil clarity at its best, to a more ethereal & airy Strat-like single-coil tone that cuts through the mix without sounding the slightest bit harsh. Mixed with the other Statofoil pickups & Magic Button, you will always find new and exciting tones. This guitar just inspires & begs to be played.
