This is a rather rare Ronin guitar from 2013, that has recently been gone over from top to bottom by head Ronin Luthier Izzy Lugo. It  was setup with 10's and plays like butter. The Songbird never got quite as much fame as the Mirari or Morningstar, but the build quality is just as high on this model as any other Ronin. There were only a handful of Songbirds built out of Redwood with Ronin Gold Foil Pickups. This is one of them. You can think of this model as a cross between the Mirari and the Stormcrow. The body shape is based on the Mirari with some extra curves and SG or Stormcrow like horns. This one has a great chunky neck with Single Foil Pickups. It twangs like a Tele, but has the clarity and dynamic range Ronin is known for. The Single Foil is a special Gold Foil pickup, with lots of bite and warmth both at the same time. Clean or dirty this guitar just sounds great. Extremely comfortable and easy to play. If you are looking for a unique Ronin model, this Songbird is certainly a guitar worth checking out. This instrument is clean with some, but very minimal wear to the finish.
