The Shabat Lion Special Baritone takes the familiar T-style silhouette into deep, thunderous territory with an extended 27″ scale and B-to-B tuning. This example was custom built with a focused, player-first spec that balances massive low-end power with clarity, articulation, and vintage-inspired feel.
Finished in a striking Olive Drab nitrocellulose lacquer with a full black headstock, the guitar has a bold military-inspired aesthetic that suits its authoritative voice. The alder body is paired with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard, producing a tight, punchy response with excellent note definition across the extended register.
Electronics feature a unique hybrid pairing of a Lollar Charlie Christian pickup and a Lollar P-90, delivering huge dynamic range. The Charlie Christian offers thick, piano-like lows and warm, woody clarity, while the P-90 adds bite, attack, and midrange punch. Together they cover everything from dark cinematic textures to articulate twang-adjacent baritone tones.
A Gotoh 6-saddle hardtail bridge ensures rock-solid intonation and sustain, while the medium C neck profile and compound radius keep the long scale comfortable and familiar under the hands. Aged nickel hardware and a black 3-ply pickguard complete the understated, purposeful look.
