Up for sale is a brand new Silktone Amp. There's been a lot of buzz around these little 1x12 combo amps and certainly for good reason. They sound incredible, are portable and offer a wide range of clean and overdriven tones. The two knob, tube driven spring reverb circuit is very flexible as well, allowing you to dial in anything from subtle reverb with a low dwell or big splashy sounds with the mix and dwell cranked or nearly cranked. You're able to go from Black and Brownface Fender tones to Tweed and even Plexi-Style tones with just a few controls and a tone bypass (AKA Raw Silk Mode), which makes the amp distort much more quickly for beautiful roaring lead tones. While this combo delivers many vintage inspired tones; the warmth of the single KT66 output tube is very present through out all of the controls settings, giving this amp a unique feel all it's own.
The Silktone Amp now comes with an optional fixed reactive attenuator switch, to bring the power down to a half watt. This is an additional $100 upgrade, but it is a very useable attenuator without any loss of your tone. Great for home practice and recording situations alike.
