This Tone King Imperial circa 2016 is the perfect grab and go combo for all styles of music. If you've been looking for a high-end tube amp that can cover everything from Blackface DLX Reverb cleans and driven tones on the rhythm channel to Tweed crunch and JTM overdriven tones with the turn of the Tone King preparatory "Mid-Bite" control, on the Lead channel. This great little combo amp has a feature set and upgrades to die for. This combo is loaded with a custom Eminence Tone King 12" '33' ceramic speaker which was custom designed and built for this amp. Past owner and original founder/designer of Tone King, Mark Bartel built an outstanding brushed aluminum faceplate to give you even more versatility not only in tone but in looks as well. Use some black chicken head knobs and this will be the coolest custom Imperial around. The tubes have been upgraded to true NOS RCA Black Plate 6v6's (the holy grail of output tubes) and Gold Lion 12ax7's plus a NOS Jan 12at7 preamp tube. These tubes compliment the circuitry of this hand wired valve amp very well. The built in tube driven Spring Reverb and Tremelo are gorgeous and lush. Lastly this amp has one of the best Attenuators currently on the market built right into its circuit The Iron Man II.
