The Jetson by UMA Guitars is a six string solid-body set-neck electric guitar with a unique and slightly offset waist that balances effortlessly both seated or standing. The lines of the body and guard are graceful and classy, while appearing ultra-modern in a particularly tasteful way.

This guitar features a single Mojo Pickups UK Dual-Foil hum-bucking gold foil. While having only one pickup (not including the piezo) the Jetson is quite a versatile design. There are three slide switches to help you sculpt your desired tone. The first switch chooses weather the pickup is in single coil or humbucking operation, the second is a high pass filter (aka bass-cut switch) and the third slide switch activates the built in piezo pickup.

Using the coil split switch, you can achieve either a more traditional gold foil neck pickup tone or a higher output hum-bucking tone that toes the line between a Gold Foil and a PAF. The second switch is a high pass filter which bleeds some bass to ground; this is great for cutting through a mix. The third and final switch engages a piezo pickup. With the piezo/acoustic pickup on, you can get all sorts of archtop or dobro-like sounds. The piezo gets more and more pronounced as you lower the volume control.

This Jetson features some upgraded appointments such as the Mastery bridge and vibrato as well as a full gloss finish on the body and highly figured maple neck.
