This is a gorgeous example of a Waterslide S-Style with Dual Foil pickups by Mojo Pickups UK. This pickup configuration has been a favorite among many of our customers, who want that Waterslide style, feel and tone but without the learning curve of playing with a Lap-Steel style pickup in the bridge position. Your able to split each pickup into a single coil, which still yields those gorgeous Lap-Steel types of tones heard on other Waterslide models. When in full Hum-bucking modes the guitar still retains that shimmering Fender-esque type of tone but with more dynamics, added clarity and harmonics that just leap off the fret-board. The lightly aged Nitro finish is also something to marvel at, with its very authentic looking finish checking. The small details like the vintage style knobs and switch tip, as well as the lively celluloid guard and matching vibrato switch tip, all add up to one of the coolest looking Waterslide guitars we've seen yet. This is a great instrument for both the Strat enthusiasts and those who like the look of a Strat, but prefer two pickup guitars. Last but certainly not least the Soft-V profile on this guitar feels nice and full without being an overkill. We're extremely happy with how this Waterslide came together.
